a very sad day for the NYC reggae community today. we say rest in peace to another one gone too soon, Phillip Smart. you hear a lot of talk about King Tubby's "classic" material...Bunny Lee stuff, Yabby You stuff, Pablo stuff...but a lot of that was PRINCE PHILLIP on the boards and the man stayed very humble always, never got his due. playing this one all day in his honor.
