Pour un sufferer, les seules choses bon marchés sont la ganja, les rizla et le fish tea... Je caricature un poil, mais faire un stamper représentait quand même un prix certain, même à l'époque.Rootikalist a écrit :I think...
the number of records pressed was between 50 to ????
In the 70's when the music business was based on records only , the price to make a stampers , expecially inna poor country like jamaica was really cheap (i think)...so in some cases they made it just to press a few records (50-100) just to distribuite in their town/friends and to their sound system friends! I feel like some tunes didn't even reach shops!
Anyway i heard that in the 70's , 80's 90's many stocks of records were destroyed to recycle plastic for new records....so many undercover and unsold records went destroyed! Plus conside that in those years people had no idea that this music was going to be so sought after , rare and expensive so in many cases they didn't had much care of their plastic...that's why a lot of this music is in bad conditions!
Anyway...i love all that!
